Christmas went...
First it was 2012 January, then I became older on my January Bday. Febuary and Valentines drove by with Vita and my first salary then it's now sunny March with Spring 2012 xD

I saw two people kissing like crazy... I initially thought, that something like that should be kept a little more private. However, the train station announces that the train will be leaving soon and the two people had kiss one last time.

Short trip to Leicester

That trip to Leicester was pretty tiring but the interview hopefully was smooth enough, I went to the site of Anime League convention and the place was somewhat calm and intricate with shops. The only downside is that the train fare was over 50£

Teenage Insider: The feeling of having some first salary :D

The feeling when you get your first salary is actually not that great... It's like "okay that was cool." Then your like "bye." haha

Seriously.

As if I wasn't excited! Getting your hard earned cash is an amazing feeling. It's a bit of like "omg do I really have that money?!" then you kind of like "phew" then all of the sudden you wanna buy everything xD lawl.

Honestly.

The best part is being able to walk into a store and actually buy something you want without hesitation. I can now eat fast food whenever, buy a video game whenever and order things on amazon anytime! Now that's the most important feeling - it's almost having million dollars in your pocket, in a teenagers sense.
But of course, I am a simple teenager and the things I want is so cheap compared to my earnings that I'm happy. Some teenagers want to buy a car and all these pricey items that what they earn is not enough so they complain lol

Me? I'm satisfied.

It's been 7 whole days that I have been thinking about this topic. 7 days ago, I was roaming around the Spring 2012 event of HYPER JAPAN!

Based in Earl's Court this year, I attend the Saturday and Sunday openings of the showfloor and I was immediately greeted with THAT community vibe, only present in HJ. once again thank you to the press team of hyper japan for giving me a press pass entry this year as well as all the other previous events. In summary I had a really good time but more importantly I got re-acquainted to the real spirit of these events which is to have fun in the midst of things.

it was such a treat to the senses to experience that cultural show. I will be supporting Hyperjapan all my life because frankly they gave me a chance to be a journalist and cover the event and they always deliver on their event promises. The sheer fun of getting to talk to exhibitors, seeing fans and learning more and more about japan makes the experience much more immersive. In fact I couldn't stop thinking about it until well - I haven't it was such a pleasure to see this cultural event unfold in my very eyes and just as it was closing... I wanted another one to happen soon.

It's been awhile since I opened my Ps3 playlist and scan through all my music. ALL of my music is about the 200-300 music mark. There's not many songs in there compared to others but - what is striking that I have quite a bit of paramore in there. in fact the whole riot and all we know is falling collection is included. It got me thinking about how much i really like paramore all these years. They are a good band and the recent band break up meant that fans could no longer enjoy their music but the band made a new trio formation that cameback with one song last year. "Monster" was the Transformers Dark of the moon soundtrack

Since then paramore has no trace in the internet. I really wish they would make another album.

Put it this way, the weather is getting hotter by the day and so is the line-up of teenage plans I have in my head :D lol joke. PlayStation Vita 3G and WiFi Model UK Review - Smile250

This is a blog post to get the ball rolling. Right now, I'm live at my college grounds in West London, so what's today's topic? Vita Review

Playstation Vita is the latest handheld from Sony and it was recently released to the public. Now being an avid gamer, I pre-orded my system and picked it up launch day, and so far I haven't been able to put it down. So let's talk whats good and whats not.
This is just a rough review, if you haven't read it's feature set - you probably should do somewhere on the web and im writing this for those who are just on the fence about buying it or not.

The nice visuals of the 5inch screen is strikingly beautiful and and crisp colours prove the system has huge graphical potential. The touch is responsive on both front and back and the functionality is accurate and so is the gyroscope and accelerometer. The presentation is excellent except the speakers which are above average but nothing special but the headphone jack is handy.

The system's build is solid and feels extremely light on the hands. It might be too huge for your regular pocket but a case should be bought to protect it. The front screen and back panel will collect tons of fingerprints and since its reflective screen, its almost unusable with direct light reflecting off it. Still the screen has hi-res output and the games line-up are looking strong.

The dual analogue means that shooters can be played properly in the portable scene and I actually believe that it will be the key to having FPS on the vita. The sticks feels sturdy and small but it doesn't loose any quality from its dualshock brother but the range of the stick is a little reduce when you move it so it will take some time taking used to because small twitch on the stick will move the aimer greatly.

The battery is great at around 4-5 hours with this amount of power to run games but when wifi and 3G and using the internet in and out and the near app and the other 3G apps and gaming on the go the battery only last short while around 3 hours. I can even run the system down to two hours while multi-tasking on the go and whilst the charging is super fast, I am not very happy with that low battery longevity.

The internet browser is checkerboarding alot and it is quite slow. The two cameras is functional but nothing special. However, it works well with augmented reality games so win there. The video capturing is below average, the google maps and facebook, twitter and four square apps are all functional and well here. The system's extra features such as cross game chat and group messaging, trophies are all incorperated in this new touch screen based OS and I must say I love it. The custom wallpapers and the bouncing bubbles are a nice touch.

Finally, the price. The 3G model cost me 280£
So far nothing seems worth it to be used with 3G but near is promising and the gift system with near suits it. The expensive games and proprietary memory cards jack up the price and gamers are gonna have a tough time being convinced to buy this one. The launch line-up is filled with hit and miss titles but some stand out titles are there like Uncharted Wipe-Out Lumines Hot Shots and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom

Should you buy one?
For gaming on the go, yes! Sheer potential and awesome portable gaming! The total cost of my 3G vita plus 16GB memory card, Stardust Delt, A travel case and insurance costs plus WipeOut 2048 was around 373£ - so brace yourselves for a pricey ride but the games hopefully make it worth it with titles like gravity rush and call of duty vita.
BUT I dont feel like the total investment price is justifiable just yet.

Late Nyt Love Post Part 2 "A true guy will not risk making her cry"

There is this one post that many people keep mentioning to me. A lot of people want to know what happend with that late nyt love story. This post right here is the sequel you've all been waiting for but unlike a novel, this is nothing but true to the heart entry. In addition, I just want to say thank you to faith plus destiny and religion combined for the whole experience.

I want to begin with a quote:
“It takes a second to notice some one, An hour to like some one, A day to fall in love with some one, And a life time to forget them.” - Brittney Shea

Perhaps this quote describes how the events unfolded, it was a like that turned love that ended in a mission of trying to forget. However, I relate to this because much like the quote - a day with her that was months and months ago was what set my world around. It took seconds to formulate a greet that became a date and it turned into a quest of trying to be as best as I can be. I could argue that my best self is not enough to meet the social norm she is accustomed to but as I tried I realized, I needed to know who I am first. Also, Some may also argue that, I should move on - idealy searching for someone who values you for who you are.

There's a major flaw in peoples advice. Every single one of them voted to move on. Not one person said, I believe in you. You can do it. Instead, the advice was pretty much useless and I succumbed to procrastination and sometimes I would wake up in the morning and think to myself that I should sprint to her doorstep and say how I feel. Another flaw in the advice is to say she does not value me - I have the utmost respect for her because how she remains to be a friend amidst all the sticky drama.

This roughly translates into: Love is not true love when it changes when it finds a change in circumstances. This is a very relatable quote because for me what I value the most is that people give me a chance to show who I am before they judge me. That quote also talks about changing situations... All this time she's nothing short of a friend - this is why I want to apologize for making the mistake of trying to move on when actually it feels just perfect when we are friends that have fun together. The friendship is what carries this encounter to a whole new level. It's not pain or suffering - it's joy in knowing that you are there for her no matter what relationship you are having.

I learnt to become more mature because of experiences in life lately and everyones words made me a better person because I believed in myself and I was wrong about her. She is only seemingly hot-headed or not so very mannered because she wants to protect herself. Knowing more now, I understand as she can or could have been through a lot of things. I am very willing to accept where I landed in society because I know that she acknowledges I'm there - and me myself and I being thrilled to simply see her happy is a prospect that I'm sure all guys would wanna see with the girl they like.

It is equally true that I did not say to her how I feel, this means that I never received any official answers. What if she said yes? I hear you ask - it is always a matter of being mature and not stupid. As we grow older we learn and I can definitely support the idea of making decisions appropriately. As time passes it was more evident that I was no longer having the intent of dating her, instead I changed into just being myself thanks to an event a few weeks ago which made me truly discover i am. Before I get sidetracked, I basically found myself where I accepted who I am and dropped my continuous questioning. Because of this - I was able to just be who I am and not worry about perception and the ever changing society norms. This meant that I was able to become my teenage happy medium. A fearless self-expression. Confidence.

"Tyrone what's with all the quotes?" It's a metaphor of how everyone interprets something into their own understanding. I was trying to relate myself so much that I lost who I am and once I found who I was, we fell into the perfect place. I dropped the theme of me chasing her, me trying to date her and me trying to impress her. I just turned up one day as the blogger and surfer that I am and now She finally knows who I am and the guy who she first met carrying a skateboard is non-existent. In turn, we became and still is friends. It's the formula that makes her smile and the ending I hoped for. She's accepted me for who I really am.

Jeremy Taylor wrote the quote above and I want to say that he is absolutely correct. When your friendship reaches peak, you may or may not work out romantically but your shared memories will always be there. A fire is a risk of destruction but also a friend of nature and survival. There's no denying that whilst many believe I should declare - I say that: I now know where I belong, it's simply as her friend and working together in missions. We often blame many things but I don't have any regrets on how events have turned out because

...a true guy does not have intentions, a true guy will not risk making her cry and a true guy will always give her a piggy back when she asks for one.

Yes, this was about to be my 4th or 5th? classic converse but since number 7 was out of stock, I got two new shoes instead.

Cornwall Holiday - National Seal Sanctuary, St Michaels mount, Land's End and Cornish Ice Cream

Back in Spring 2011, I got the chance to go to Cornwall, the prices there are expensive despite being a six hour drive from London. I would assume the more "countryside" you go the cheaper. We had a tour of the National Seal Sanctuary there, some authentic gardens, bird parks, St Michaels mount, had a taste of cornish ice cream - TASTES NICE - also went to Land's End which is the final bit of soil at the very tip of England. The next soil (if you attempt to swim it) is gonna be New York USA.

Alright folks, first things first, I know I havent blogged in a week and all of you guys are thinking, Where are you? Well LOL im not in Call of Duty, no no sir. Im not in the new chuck norris advertised World of Warcraft game either... i know, your in Skyrim right? Just a little. hahaha xP been working with college assignments and resting but i'll be blogging onwards now.

But in all seriousness, I got busy with some few tasks here and there and I was ready to blog then I GOT ILL for SOME god DAMN reason that I HAVE NO clue about. I am feeling much better than earlier - blogging away.

Starhawk Multiplayer Beta Impressions - Smile250 - LightBox Interactive - Sony PS3

First, thanks to Sony for sending me a beta invite. In writing this article - the game is based on the 1.02-1.04 Private Beta versions.

Starhawk is the spiritual successor to Incognito Entertainment's Warhawk. Now the renamed studio "LightBox Interactive" in partnership with Santa Monica studios promises yet another large scale explosion fest with infantry combat, vehicles and mechs and dog-fighting.This impressions is solely based on the multiplayer of Starhawk and going into this beta I had plenty of complaints because I played StarHawk last September at EuroGamer expo 2011 and it was very mediocre. I have high expectations from Starhawk because I for one spent countless hours on Warhawk - approximately 500 hours or so. literally. check my PSN profile if you dont believe me. It's a possible reason why Sony might have invited me in this Beta.

Thankfully, the multiplayer beta is great. Featuring 16 players on two small maps to battle it out in CTF. The game runs smoothly in terms frame rate, the visuals feel much improved from the last build in september and the crumbling debris from buildings when they explode is a nice touch. The third person camera is much closer than Warhawk - this means that, its harder to see what's around you and have to play in a typically third person style rather than the arcade approach of Warhawk. Visually, the game is fair, the colours of rift blue, turret red and acid green are a easy on the eyes.

The shotgun is over-powered in range, the maps feel empty and the new hawks don't control as slick as the Warhawks. I hope they make adjustments with the hawks controls and the mech mode means the hawks are not over-powered on the ground. The mechs are sluggish and the lack of tanks makes the game a little empty. There are also no signs of a repair wrench, flame throwers and airstrikes. The sniper feels odd at the moment and the removal of health-bar means theres no need for a biofield. Teamplay is still very important and the new rift currency means theres no unlimited supply of weapons, hawks or jetpacks. This balance is great for the warring factions and since everything costs money, the style of each fight varies in the tendencies of each time.

The game is very reminiscent of Warhawk but you'd be very surprised on how much the game changes with Build and battle - each building costs certain rift energy cores which regenerates when your in your base. From there the whole team is task with CTF while limited to a 32 building limit. This means co-ordination in a must and the balance of offence and defence is required. The tactics in play means the battlefield is customizable, it also means no enemy bases are similar. it also means bad team-mates will consume your limit with useless buildings. All in all, This makes room for a variety of gameplay situation.

Weapons and vehicles now come from buildings so it takes time to set up a base, turrets and bubble shields also make an appearance but most importantly jetpacks return and they are still as useful as ever. The intensity of the fight never dips and the combat is fun. The unlimited sprint is useful but the melee is over-powered therefore, running and knifing with R3 in tight areas is actually possible. The buildings take time to destroy particularly walls but some like turrets are cake. Also the beam of your turret has been balanced to be weak with buildings, plus the spawning in pods from mid-air ala Section 8 just makes is slow ass respawn and the game can feel a chore to set up. You have to play smart as everything costs rift and the game is great at giving you the tools you need to create your own maps configurations in real time. (Build and Battle)

The game so far looks and sounds fine, the characters and weapons feel uninspired, the maps are a little too empty, the lack of tanks also remove some fun. The gameplay needs tweaks and Im hoping plenty of additions come in the full game. The beta's strength is the build and battle, but there are LOTS improvements to be made...at least the team certainly is heading in the right direction.

It's another Late Nyt Love Post from me and I know your thinking what is up this time? Let's dive in xD for starters I can tell you - it's not sad. Hopefully.

I'm about to contradict myself. Yes. I'm declaring that maybe last weeks late nyt volume is now irrelevant. I wanna move on from this game and I actually wanna do something for once rather than sit and camp like a n00b on call of duty. I'm getting my life back and there's only one way to do that. Tell her "Im in lesbians with you" Scott Pilgrim reference. Lol. Before you judge - that was a joke, it's all put behind now. I am who I am and i'm gonna enjoy life as it is.

In fairness, I'm learning to adjust towards the paranoia. I mean, two days to reply to a text is normal right? Of course it is. So whilst many unconventional factors are being played - I'm understanding that I don't have to care so much.

We can say that despite last weeks late nyt post I've accepted the casualties of the typical getting attached to someone out of your league. This post might seem so strange but I'm telling you that I won't let the uncertainties bother me and to emphasize that yours truly needs a source of confidence.

When you get attached to someone out of your league - you'll be out of your comfort zone and you suddenly become counter productive because let's face it - no plan of yours will work. Your charms are offline and your lines will be missing the mark. The perks you hope to use are unavailable and you get the picture. You can't execute your plan. This means that you can't be who you are because your limited.

My point is... I would say that do your best regardless of obstacles - I want people to risk it and push their limits. When you reach that maximum like I did - i had to give up because there was no way forward due to the rejection. BUT. try. I'm now slowly moving away from the temptation of her perfection but my intuition seeks inspiration due to negative perception.

Lastly, hope that luck will be with you and for another post I'll update everyone about what's happening in life :P

Let's give this one a subtitle of "limits" and emphasis on "I'm not her type" You'll get the reasons soon. Also, It's a little bit dissapointing that my phone cannot perform multitasking - I couldn't listen to music while doing this blog post... I sure hope to get this feeling out and share my thoughts.

Let me warn you this could be a long blog entry to read. There's a lot of sensitive stuff here so please just don't wreck criticisms on me and I'm hoping some form of advice comes my way. I'm going to wish a slice of sense formulates in my puzzled mind.

I'm going to make one thing clear. (I guess it's time to admit huh?)
"I like this girl..."
There I said it. Yes you read it right. Don't say it's typical or even worse - judge just as you read this sentence. I think some speculated about this - their guesses are correct to an extent. "I feel affectionate" towards this new girl recently.

...I have a crush on her.

What would you do if you got clear indications it's not possible?what would you do if your not good enough?

Lots of arguements are flying through my mind at different times of the day. At one time, I was dreaming about her, inspiration can spark from me at any moment and its currently making me dissapointed and its leading me to believe theres some hope but we all know deep down its really nothing but our imagination. actually, at some point I really hated myself for fucking things up. There's a difference in this particular story than most...

She told me her type.

And I'm nowhere near that. Infact she was bragging about it. Imagine how much it hurts inside when the person you like just spells out the checklist of requirements and you completely do a venn diagram in your head about you and her type. Then you instantly realize... You scored zero points. What do you do then?

She has an attitude problem; rude and inconsiderate, she's a player and she's reads my every move. I'm defenseless and vulnerable. I could've sworn she was simply toying with me - when she gave me that one chance Of attention.

Faults or imperfections? I don't care - I always like someone including their good and bad sides. That's just me. She's impressive - I'll give her that.

I like her but There's so much competition from what my instincts are telling me. Guys from left and right are onto her. The best part comes when I know I got an edge against these guys which I can't tell you as it will give it away but the worse part is that... I'm not her type.

She even admitted that I'm not one of the people she'd date
Sometimes all we can do is stare into the vast star ocean and make random wishes. What if this what if that? In this instance I wanted to be...

The tall quiet and mysterious Asian guy with long hair from your Korean drama plus the broad shoulders and charming smile.

I can't magically make myself her type and I'm forced to give up.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Review

After playing the multiplayer so much and completing 8 spec ops maps - Ive got my Modern Warfare 3 review.

What's good? The maps offer a smaller feel yet an definite increase in complexity. The guns feel balanced for the most part yet the UMP is still over powered. There's plenty of challenges that reward your efforts and the game modes feel old but at least the fun is still par. It can be argued that the game is suffering from too much of the same but it manages some unique fun.

The new Perks undoubtly feel so much balanced and the kill streak system has allowed for rewards for everyone - both the offensive minded players and the team orientated once because kill streaks don't reset for the support streak system. The new killstrrak rewards are useful but some like the chopper is over-powered.

There's some lag issues to be found, out dated graphics and it really feels more of the same.

Buy it for fun of modern warfare with fans alike around the globe!

The game is awesome. There I said it - hate it or love it - Call of Duty offers a robust online component offering 16 well designed maps which favour complexity and intense firefights. The news modes make some fresh ideas of gameplay but nothing revolutionary, the graphics and sound are generally average. The weapons and perks feels extremely balanced and the weight, profficiencies, killstreaks all feel relatively effective toward your style. Guns vary with your settings on it, the new weapon levels make for rewards as you use a weapon more and more. The gun combat is still sweet as ever and the biggest draw factor is the sheer fun thr it offers whatever time of the day.

Im super excited along with the millions of fans out there!

With San Andreas being confirmed as the location Im extremely happy with Rockstars upcoming game. It's the perfect location combining 3 cities and plenty of fun to look forward to. Jets and planes are confirmed which is awesome as the previous game lacked airplanes. Moreover, the graphics prove To be much brighter and colourful - the pallete had improved and the cars showcased look great with the motorbike and bank heist teased. The game scenery captures the true essence of a city Through squatters, pedestrians and the environment. The setting looks modern and the soundtrack hopefully is up to par to vice city and the activity has to be just as great as San Andreas for this to be a True GTA V

No release dates but I can't wait!

Getting into gaming requires you to pick a console and play your games. EASY! Top Casual Games: Farmville, Angry Birds and Sports games plus dance games. Hardcore Games are like First person shooters and role players which require hours upon hours because they are story driven or grinding focused for progression.

This is a bit of an opinion piece. I think that magazines around gaming are slowly dying because of the internet. News, reviews, and the whole network of gaming is facilitated by the flow of the internet. Advertising, stories, previews and editorials are available to the public with a few clicks and the information which was once exclusive to magazines are all found in the internet within minutes of the actual announcements. Magazines continue to produce copies but I feel that a loss is coming somewhere - the amount of freebies coming from magazines these days are plenty. This indicates a compensation for the value in order to attract customers. In fact the most shocking fact is the amount of advertising is magazines have significantly increased over the past five years or so. The text in each magazine no longer is exclusive as the information is absorbed by internet websites. The weakest part of magazines is that its once every month. The information could be 4 weeks late or some information are out dated. There are also cases where the front page is no longer relevant. The internet cannot be blamed for this but it's speed and the fee of zero certainly makes it the number one killer to the print magazines. Magazine's offer free stickers, dvds and posters but this personally is not enough to justify the costs of purchase. Your investment is no longer worth it with magazines. The advertising is off-putting and the demos included in the gaming magazines are out-dated. The times have moved on and print media will surely fall if nothing is done.

Otaku Zine and K-zone Magazines have arrived :L Thanks to my mother from Asia =) otakuZine issue 65 and the ALLmanac kzone issue 2011-2012. So the cover issue is "Hidan no Aria" - it'll be worth the check and tons of J-pop too xD In addition free poster - i Mean FREE POSTER!!! my collection is growing and it's always nice to get acquainted with the childhood and typical asainisms side of life. national book store shout out for being so awesome and stocking up these rare magazines ;D

Finally, I got the chance to eat out with the family in one of the most anticipated restaurants in my list xP oh yeah :D To celebrate my father's birthday - we had family lunch at TGI Fridays! I loved it and I sure recommend it to everyone xD it was a nice ambient restaurant filled with cool staff uniforms, authentic American food and lively music. The Picadilly Circus branch has a bar in the middle and plenty of decorations around - the place shines with modern classic feel and theres one thing you cant deny. The food was just perfect. TGIF <3 I snapped a quick photo for your viewing pleasure but in all seriousness go and try out TGI FRIDAYS - the food cant get any better than this.

EA has been cool enough to give me copies of their SSX comics and I gotta say the art style and presentation was amazing on this thing! The colourful drawings and the stereotypical generic story combines well to create an inspired piece of comic. Im not a fan of comic books but this one totally gets my thumbs up - if anyone wants a read - just ask me I have two copies and if your nearby I might be able to ship and give it to you. The visual presentation is the most refreshing quality of SSX comic for me and I really have to give credit to the creators of this.

The palette of colours has been used significantly and the snappy writing totally adds immersion. Manga's are colourless which is what I read so this was something new for my eyes and whilst it does very little advertising of the game for me - the impact is I now wanna check out modern comics and maybe use some of these art style in the future. This is a game tie in and I personally will not be buying the game.

Im not a fan of SSX although I played plenty of them in the PS2 days but Amped Series is just much better in my opinion. The demo I played in EuroGamer was sub par and nothing special about it. Set to release next - they could prove me wrong and make it awesome!
The screenshots you see show you snaps of this attention seeker and it's definitely worth a look if you come across modern world comics as this little book proved to me that comics are not too be taken lightly and it still has some ass kicking power!

Way back in August, I attended the VANS Downtown Showdown skateboarding competition and one of the dudes and dudettes working there handed me some free stuff and one of them was this DVD...

This underground DVD featured some cool skating and entertainment clips - totally awesome that the Vans kids gave me one of these cause I enjoyed it. It has low quality and obviously low budget but it was rather good times on wood on wheels! Thank you Vans! Love Skateboarding!
